I like to use this hand rake for tidying evergreen ornamental grasses like Stipa tenuissima and Anemanthele lessoniana.

Evergreen grasses should not be cut down because they take a long time to re-grow and will lose their grace if you do (they'll look like they've had an extreme brushcut and regrowth will be patchy for at least a year).

Instead, you should comb out the dead brown foliage when they get messy looking. The stiff tines of this rake makes it perfect for the job!

The curved neck, short handle, and light weight makes it comfortable and easy to use. You'll be mighty glad to own one if you have mass plantings of evergreen grasses in your garden.

You can also use it to prepare small areas for seeding in the veggie garden.
